DESCRIPTION:  3 1/4-7 1/4" (8.3-18.4 cm). . usually dark with red cheeks.

STATUS:

RANGE: Extreme Southwest  North Carolina, in the Nantahala Mountains.

HABITAT: Among mossy logs and other debris in moist, mountainous forests.
