Cope's Gray Treefrog

DESCRIPTION: 1 1/4 to 2 inches. Their size
is predominantly larger in comparison with other members of the
Treefrog family. Normally grey and subject to many color
derivations. Light spots below eyes. Concealed surfaces of hind
legs usually bright orange or golden yellow, mottled with black
Skin of back quite warty for a Treefrog. Extremely well
camouflaged especially when clinging to a tree.
RANGE: Most of North and Southeast and Midwest.
HABITAT: Not often seen or ground or at waters edge, except in
breeding season. Relatively around small trees or shrubs near or
standing in shallow bodies of water
