RANGE: Common breeder of the dense riparian areas
of the Blue Mt. eco region, which includes Wallowa and Union
counties, very rare in west of the Cascade range.
STATUS: Secure, and may be expanding in range.\
HABITAT: Dependant on thick riparian areas, especially willow
and cottonwood mixes.
NEST: Often in a dense thicket, bulky, made of grasses, twigs,
leaves, forbs, and other small materials.
FOOD: Spiders, berries, fruits may make up 50% of the diet.
