DESCRIPTION: 2 3/4 - 4 3/4 inches. A red
salamander with a strong concentration of black pigments under
the chin. The tail is spotted almost all the way to tip.
RANGE: Elevations to more than 5000 ft

HABITAT: Under stones, logs, moss, etc., in
habitats ranging from open pasture to forest. |
